Patch Notes

Every website is a live service if you never finish it.

v2.1.0 “The Lime Update”

New

  • Patch notes. You are reading them. This page documents itself, which is more than most of my code can say.
  • Sticker energy: tags now arrive slightly crooked, like they were slapped on by hand. Hover one to press it flat.
  • Fresh posts wear a NEW starburst for 14 days. After that they are simply posts.
  • Posts older than a year now ship with a complimentary coffee stain. Contents may have expired.

Buffed

  • Green. The accent color is now green. It was always green in my heart.

Nerfed

  • Blue (removed from the meta entirely).
v2.0.1

New

  • Comments on toys, so you can dispute the Snake high score in writing.

Fixed

  • The 404 page passed away. There is a tombstone now. You may play Snake at the funeral.
v2.0.0 “The Fun Update”

New

  • Hot-pink text selection. Select this sentence to see the best feature on the site.
  • Something now lives in the footer. It is undocumented. It is also hungry.
  • The console greets people who open devtools. Hello, devtools people.
  • Professional mode: one click makes everything gray, Times New Roman, and sad. It also resurrects my old corporate bio as punishment.

Buffed

  • Personality (+800%).
  • Reading times are now measured in coffees.
  • Search actually finds things now, which I am told is the point of search.

Nerfed

  • Professionalism. Moved to an optional toggle. Use responsibly.

Removed

  • Reactions. Nobody reacted. The commit message says “remove useless reactions” and I stand by it.
v1.0.0

New

  • V1. Followed shortly by V2 and V3, which is the entire changelog we kept from that era. A dark age. This page exists so it never happens again.

Known issues

  • Everything V2 fixed, V3 broke back.
v0.1.0

New

  • A blog. Layouts, posts, tags, RSS, dark mode — the whole starter kit.
  • A Toys page, because a blog without games is just a document.

Known issues

  • No readers yet.
